Rules & Regulations
The following rules & regulations apply to all owners who rent the clubhouse.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR CLUBHOUSE ELIGIBILITY AND RESERVATIONS
(Effective 12/1/92; revised 4/14/97, 2/11/02, 11/18/02, 4/12/04, 3/23/08)

The Clubhouse is meant for the enjoyment of all members of College Park Club (CPC). All rental requests are subject to Board approval. Only members of CPC whose dues are current may rent the clubhouse. A CPC Member is defined as the owner of property in College Park. Tenants are eligible to use the clubhouse and are subject to the same rules and regulations as the owners.

The Clubhouse is available for rental at no charge, with Board approval:
  1. For social activities involving only members of CPC and no non-residents;
  2. For fund raising events or sales for the sole benefit of CPC; or
  3. For civic, religious, charitable, or educational activities with some non-residents in attendance if the use is sponsored and attended by a CPC resident; however, the following restrictions apply:
  • Any such use may not be for fund raising purposes;
  • A security deposit must be received prior to the date of the activity;
  • The organization is responsible for cleaning the clubhouse or they can pay the full cleaning fee then in effect;
  • The organization may use the clubhouse only one time per year at no charge and subsequent uses will be at the rental rates then in effect; and
  • Only one such use by any organization will be permitted per month.
  1. Availability for a “no charge” use of the clubhouse is limited to Monday through Thursday (with the exception of major holidays: New Year’s Eve and Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).
  2. Requests for weekend or holiday dates with no charge may be made no earlier than two weeks before the requested date.
  3. Members of College Park Club (CPC) whose dues are current may rent the clubhouse for “private” parties. This term includes such events as bridge parties, dinner parties, wedding receptions, etc., which are sponsored and hosted by a CPC member. Private parties are considered those events where the member is paying for the expenses of the party or function and will be in attendance throughout the event.
  4. A member of CPC may rent the clubhouse on behalf of a company under the following conditions:
  • the member is an employee of the company;
  • the member signs the rental contract;
  • the member will be in attendance throughout the party; and
  • the member will be responsible for all activity during the party.
The clubhouse may also be rented, subject to Board approval, for activities that are open to all CPC members and are seen to benefit the neighborhood even though those activities include non-residents. Such rental may be for activities such as: dance classes, exercise classes, bridge games, etc. Rental terms and fees are to be determined by the CPC Board so as to protect and maintain the clubhouse and CPC in all instances.

Rentals are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. If the required paperwork and fees are not received at least two weeks before the scheduled event, another group’s request for that date may be honored.
