Ladies Coffee
Ladies Coffee 2nd Tuesday of the month 9:30 am, Clubhouse

Several neighborhood ladies gather for coffee, pastries, and a chat each month. This is a nice opportunity to meet neighbors, make friends, and catch up on what’s happening in College Park.

Call Maria Reed, 872-8514, for more information.

Retired Men's Coffee
Retired Men’s Monthly Coffee
3rd Tuesday of each month
10:00 am

About 10-15 men attend each month, and there is always room for more. You are invited to get up early on the third Tuesday and come over to the clubhouse.

The cost is 25 cents per month which cover coffee, creamer, sugar, etc. A member’s wife usually provides some delicious homemade pecan rolls or other pastry. If not, donuts are purchased with the monthly dues.

Contact Art Garringer, 875-8076 for more information.

Over-55 Pitch-In Dinner
Dinners are held on Friday evenings four times a year for residents over 55 who enjoy home cooking and conversation.

The hosts are usually two people who volunteered at the previous dinner and are responsible for providing the meat for the meal, setting up the clubhouse and coordinating the food that everyone else brings.

The general coordinator ensures that there is a host for the next dinner, sends out invitations about a week before the dinner, and keeps the supplies.

Everyone brings something for the meal. The cost is determined by the host and is usually $1.50-$2.50 per person.

Cocktail hour begins at 6:00 pm and dinner is at 6:30 pm.

This is an excellent opportunity to meet others in your age group and have a very enjoyable evening at the clubhouse.

Contact Maria Reed, 872-8514, for more information.
